Water-soluble sulfo-Cyanine3 dye, inactivated monofunctional carboxylic acid derivative. This reagent serves as a standard fluorophore for the Cyanine3 detection channel and as a control in experiments involving other sulfo-Cyanine3 labeled compounds. The carboxylic acid moiety can also be activated using carbodiimides. Both the absorbance and emission spectra closely match those of the Cyanine3 fluorophore.
